I was going to open a thread about how duc had record sales last year. I sat on that dirt bike looking duc and like you, that seat was not going to be comfortable for me. Joe-average(?), fine for them. Besides, I kind of dwarf the bike sitting on it.
Trying to keep up with the jones is was more keeping up with Kruz. I had my eye on a leftover 1000 Tuono twin. Great bike. Still have it and swap between bikes, being like you said, fun. So I figured I'd rotate the fun ride. Went to a duc dealer and asked about the performance. He said the Tuono was faster than the duc I was looking at.
Once I heard that, I Elvis'd the place. How could the faster, better handling Tuono sit on the dealer floor and you can't keep a duc on the floor. I don't get it? Is this something like the price you pay for profiling? No one wants to go fast anymore? I want that duc sound like a harley sound?
Yeah, the shift electronics alone is just one feature to lust for.
